Explore the unique wildlife and habitats of the protected Adur River Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) on this guided two hour riverside walk. Discover the birds, butterflies, wildflowers and saltmarsh that make this estuary so important, while learning about the conservation challenges facing the river and the work being done to support its recovery. Led by local experts, including birding and wildlife specialist Richard Allen, the safari also highlights practical ways you can get involved in protecting this special landscape. Suitable for anyone with an interest in nature, wildlife or the Adur Valley.
