Sussex Nature Sense – Help us to survey butterflies and pollinators at Knepp

Watching a butterfly flit across the landscape is one of life’s great joys. We are inviting you to learn how to survey butterflies and pollinators at two of the long-running high-resolution ecological monitoring stations present on the Knepp estate.

During the event, Dr James Whitehead from Nature Sense will teach you how to identify the butterflies and pollinators encountered, and how to record your observations using the iRecord Butterflies and FITcount apps. You will then be invited to become one of the Citizen Scientists helping us to carry out surveys at the  monitoring locations throughout the year.

This event will be outside, please wear appropriate clothing and bring food and water with you.
