Connectivity and Commerciality of Chalk Grassland

A look at how individual efforts by farmers form a connecting chain of chalk grassland and examples of the commerciality of chalk grassland

Having looked at this topic with a micro mindset in the field with a management and livestock focus, this event will go macro and look at how individual efforts by farmers form a connecting chain of chalk grassland both across the South Downs and further afield (Colin Hedley). We will also look at the commerciality of chalk grassland with examples of farmers and initiatives weaving that into the marketing of their farm (Roly Puzey and Abbie Carr). The event will conclude with a buffet supper.
