How to Get Involved

Join us in creating a connected and thriving landscape across Sussex! Whether you’re a land manager, gardener, or passionate community member, Weald to Waves offers several ways to get involved and contribute to nature recovery. By pledging your land or greenspace, you become part of a growing movement to reconnect habitats and create a resilient ecosystem for wildlife.

Which membership type is appropriate for me?

Below is an overview of our three membership types. Pick the most relevant to you to join the corridor and begin your nature recovery journey!

Farmers & Land Managers

Farmers and land managers are at the forefront of nature recovery and climate resilience. By joining Weald to Waves, you can pledge part or all of your land to help create connected habitats that support biodiversity alongside sustainable farming practices. From grassland restoration to woodland management, your contribution will help shape a landscape where wildlife and agriculture can thrive together.

Gardens & Greenspaces

Did you know that gardens and greenspaces make up the largest block of land in the Weald to Waves corridor? From private gardens to community greenspaces, every individual, group and council can play a vital role in creating habitats and supporting nature recovery. Join the Gardens & Greenspaces network to receive practical tips, resources, and support.

Our Wider Network

If you don’t have land, a garden, or a community group to pledge, you can still play a vital role in Weald to Waves by joining Our Wider Network. This network connects individuals and groups passionate about nature recovery, offering opportunities to participate in local projects, citizen science, fundraising events, and more. Help weave together the fabric of our landscape, regardless of your land ownership.
