Complete actions in any order
Take as many or as few actions as you like. Even one or two actions can make a meaningful difference for wildlife.
Each category card shows a summary of your progress for that garden. These progress summaries will become more useful as you begin reporting. For now, just explore the categories that interest you most.
3. Record and Track your Progress
Use the reporting tool to update the status of your actions and add short comments about what you’ve done.
Note: All actions begin with the “To do” status. This means you haven’t added any updates yet.
Track your progress, see how your actions add up over time.
Stay motivated, small steps create big change
Help improve nature recovery and connectivity
Reporting your actions gives us a real-world snapshot of how our members are supporting nature across Sussex. It will also help us understand what resources we can develop further to help you progress in future.

Recording this is still really helpful and helps us to understand barriers and support members with different types of greenspaces.

Actions for Nature is your place to record what’s happening in your garden or greenspace, whether you’re taking your first steps or you’ve been helping wildlife for years. Update your progress whenever it suits you. There’s no need to complete actions in order. Every update helps tell the story of your space and contributes to nature recovery across Sussex.
You’ll occasionally see a reminder to revisit actions that haven’t been updated for a while. These are friendly reminders, giving you the opportunity to reflect on your progress and share what’s changed.
